This policy explains what data Razzle Dazzle Backgammon collects, how it is used, and how it is stored. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than making the app work.
Cloud data is stored in Supabase, which is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Supabase applies standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to the database is restricted by row-level security policies. Device-local statistics stay on your device. Game data and signed-in account preferences are synced as described above.
Supabase (database and authentication backend, hosted on AWS) — processes the cloud-stored data described above.
Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — delivers push notifications using your device token.
Resend — processes directory submission emails to the administrator, including the submitted details and contact email.
Vercel — hosts the website and processes requests needed to serve it.
We use service providers to operate the app and website as described above. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not use the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers).
Account data, signed-in preferences and push tokens are retained until the account is deleted. Shared game rooms can be created without an account and are stored separately; deleting an account does not delete the shared score sheet for other players.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. On iPhone or iPad: Home screen → Account → Delete my account. On the web: Account & Alerts → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account, display name, alert preferences, seat claims, and push tokens from our servers, and cannot be undone. You can also email us and we will remove it for you.
Directory submissions and their contact emails are retained for administrative review and management, including pending and rejected submissions. They are not automatically deleted when a review link expires. Approval links expire after 30 days; the listing itself remains until removed by the administrator. Submission emails may also remain in the administrator's inbox. Contact us to request removal of a listing or your submission data.
Device-local stats, guest alert preferences and the local roster can be removed by clearing app or browser data. Signed-in preferences stored in Supabase are separate from this local copy.
Razzle Dazzle Backgammon is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. We may also notify you in-app.
